Brian's winning margin over second placed Alastair Hinds' Max 4 was a convincing 87 points. Brian is no stranger to success, having won both the Main Standings and Premier League Standings (2015) and the Elite League Standings (2012) in the past.

Previous winners of all competitions can be viewed in The Hall of Fame

Meanwhile, in the other competitions that are still running, Jim Mckellar leads The Main Standings by 16 points, Carol Meader leads The Premiership standings by 80 points and Keith Milton leads The Championship standings, also by 16 points. The Mushroom Cup is also still running of course, with eight different managers still having an interest in that competition.

For the first time ever we are running an Autumn League this season, which runs from today until the end of the season, so a nice little chance for some late glory for previously under performing teams. Good luck everyone!
New competition: Autumn League! 27 August 2017
For the first time ever, Speedway Fantasy League is running an Autumn League competition in 2017. The Autumn League will run between Sep 1 and Oct 31 and all teams will be entered into this end-of-season bash.

So a late chance for glory for hitherto under performing teams. Good luck everyone!

2017 game now open - it's not too late to take part! 26 March 2017
Back for its 12th season, Speedway Fantasy League is now open for 2017 and although the first two fixtures of the season have been complete, it's not too late to take part! Both The Premiership and The Spring League start on April 1.

As last season, there are six competitions up for grabs - The Main Standings (formerly The Championship), The Mushroom Cup, The Premiership (formerly The Elite League Championship), The Championship (formerly The Premier League Championship), The Spring League and The Summer League. In addition you can still set up private leagues for you and your buddies. As ever, you can tinker with your team as much as you like up until the season begins.

Most if not all of you will have seen the changes made at the AGM in November but these changes will have no meaningful impact on the way this game works. Teams will still be built to a team total of 42 and normal top tier and second tier averages will apply for team building purposes.
